FITNESS & WELLNESS FOR SENIORS
A fun, energizing program that helps seniors take greater control of their health by encouraging physical activity and offering social events. This program is offered through participating supplemental health insurance.
Silver Sneakers Exercise: Designed to increase muscular strength, range of motion and skills required to keep active. Hand held weights, elastic tubing with handles and balls are used for resistance. A chair is used for support, stretching and relaxation.

Senior Fitness Classes
Osteo-blast /50+ Circuit Training — Fitness class that targets bone strengthening through weight bearing and stretching exercises, as well as low-impact cardio training.
Chair Yoga/Tai-Chi/Essential Stretch — Classes specifically geared to the less mobile. Improve aerobic and muscular fitness by offering a slower paced but effective workout.
Senior Aquatics Classes

AquAerobics — For adults 55 + who are interested in a low-impact water exercise class. Increase your strength, flexibility and aerobic conditioning through water exercises without putting stress on your joints and muscles. Helpful for people with arthritis or osteoporosis. You do not need to know how to swim.
Aqua Therapy — Private water exercises with a certified specialist to increase balance and muscle strength. For information, call Barbara, x317.
