Aquatics Center

Children's Group Classes
Modeled after the American Red Cross Learn-To-Swim program and taught by certified American Red Cross water safety instructors. Designed to develop each swimmer's skill set, emphasizing water safety and overall aquatic comfort level.
AquaBabies — 6-18 mos.
Join us for fun activities that teach infants to feel comfortable in the water. Parents will learn to hold and
support infants properly in the water while infants will explore breath control, floating, and changing body
position while “moving” through the water.
AquaTots — 18-36 mos.
Great experiences and exciting activities teach young swimmers to feel safe in the water. Techniques using parental assistance teach children water safety, safe entry, kicking, and arm movements. Swimmers build on-breath control, floating, and changing body position while "moving" through the water.
Swim With Me — 2-1/2-4 yrs. old
Designed for children who aren’t ready to swim alone or have difficulty separating from their parents. Each class is filled with engaging and challenging games and activities that will motivate your child to swim!
Preschool Levels — Ages 3-5
American Red Cross three preschool swimming levels: Pre-school aged children are taught basic aquatic safety & swimming skills while increasing their comfort level in and around the water.
Preschool Level 1
Orients children to the aquatic environment and helps them gain basic aquatic skills.
Preschool Level 2
Children gain independence, improve skills and develop more comfort in and around the water. They learn to fully submerge and blow bubbles from their mouth and nose, as well as, float on their front and back with assistance, combining arm and leg action.
Preschool Level 3
Children start to gain basic swimming skills to be comfortable in and around the water. They should be able to perform front and back floats and glides without assistance, as well as, combine arm and leg motion on their front and back.
